Tarpon Tournament Sport Fishing

* As a lifelong -active political figure and steward of our fishery, I decided to retire from tarpon tournament fishing proir to the 2011 season. The events were some of my top memories in my career. While this was not an easy decision to make, after 3 years of being on the fence, I decided to take the high road and side with the best interest of the fishery ( which naturally includes me personally and professionally). We fed our egos, won over $350,000, set a records (one of which will likely hold forever) and we left a mark. This page will now serve of a snapshot of the past.
